From his first public performance crooning in French at the age of 6, to recording his first demo tracks on a series of old tape recorder decks — Kentö has always found innovative ways to merge sounds from early musical influences — like Elvis Presley, Kate Bush, The Beach Boys, Sting, & Tears for Fears — with that of his multi-cultural upbringing (he spent the majority of his youth in Japan and Brazil). After his debut EP Complicated with pop artist/producer Frankmusik, “Everything,” is the latest single from this multi-lingual NYC-based artist. He is currently in the studio working on his first full-length album, Bam Avery.
